Win Virtual Reality (VR) Goggles in Week 10: 13-19 April

The Voices Unite initiative is in its tenth week and continues full-steam ahead. Voices Unite participants who complete surveys stand a chance of winning a Sanlam Tech Bundle that includes a backpack, headsets and VR goggles. Other awesome prizes can be seen below.

A quick reminder that we will not be able to deliver prizes to the winners during the lockdown period. Winners will be personally notified on the steps that we will be taking, following the lockdown, to ensure that they receive their prizes.

The Heavy Chef Guide to Starting a Business in South Africa

5 lucky Voices Unite participants can each win an eBook by Xero and our Voices Unite partner, Heavy Chef, on how to start a business in South Africa. This book is the first guide released in the country to provide a comprehensive, however accessible recipe for startup success.

  • Requirements: To stand a chance of winning this amazing book, all you need to do is complete the Employment and Entrepreneurship survey, in addition to the Finance survey on the Voices Unite platform. 
  • Deadline: 26 April

Sanlam Tech Bundle

A lucky Voices Unite participant will win a cool Sanlam backpack with VR goggles and headphones, courtesy of our Voices Unite partner – Sanlam.

  • Requirements: To stand a chance of winning this awesome prize, all you need to do is complete the Finance survey, in addition to 2 other surveys on the Voices Unite platform. 
  • Deadline: 26 April
  • Reminder: Your answers will be used to guide future decision-making, so answer honestly and don’t rush through the questions – you have plenty of time to provide your answers. 
Tertiary support valued at R30,000 per year

Opportunity for 2 lucky Voices Unite participants to take part in a mind-blowing university access programme offered by our partner Rural Education Access Programme (REAP), enabling young people from marginalised rural communities in South Africa access to tertiary education.

This will include an amazing package of support spanning NSFAS top-ups, a study laptop, a monthly stipend, workshops and more!

  • Requirements: To stand a chance to secure your spot in this invaluable access programme, all you need to do is complete the 4 of the 7 surveys on the Voices Unite platform. You’ll also need to have matriculated from a rural school! 
  • Deadline: 19 April
  • Reminder: Your answers will be used to guide future decision-making, so answer honestly and don’t rush through the questions – you have plenty of time to provide your answers. 

Voices Unite Survey Completion Prizes:

For Voices Unite participants that complete all 7 surveys before the countdown timer hits zero, there are some incredible prizes up for grabs!

These include: R50,000 cash from In On Africa (IOA), bursaries from a growing number of academic partners, scholarships, internships, international volunteering opportunities and more!

  • Requirements: To stand a chance to win these and other huge prizes, all you need to do is complete all 7 Voices Unite surveys before the countdown timer runs out. 
  • Deadline: 30 June (date extended)
