Win a bursary in Agriculture in Week 37: 19-25 October

In our thirty-seventh week of our Voices Unite initiative, we are celebrating the importance of agriculture. In collaboration with our partner, AGRICOLLEGES International, we are giving away a bursary in Agriculture to the value of R32,000!

Still up for grabs is the 4x R5,000 bursaries from the University of Johannesburg and the tertiary support worth R30,000 from Rural Early Access Programme (REAP).

Bursary in Agriculture worth R32,000!

A bursary in Agriculture! One lucky Voices Unite participant stands a chance of winning a bursary from our partner, AGRICOLLEGES International worth R32,000!

  • Requirements: To stand a chance of winning, you need to have completed three Voices Unite surveys. These are Healthcare and Lifestyle, Infrastructure and Finance! You need to at least have Grade 10. 
  • Deadline: 25 October
  • Reminder: Your answers will be used to guide future decision-making, so answer honestly and don’t rush through the questions – you have plenty of time to provide your answers. 
4 Bursaries from UJ worth R5,000 each!

Bursaries from UJ! 4 lucky Voices Unite participants stand a chance of winning a bursary from our collaborator, University of Johannesburg, worth R5,000 each.  

  • Requirements: To stand a chance of winning one of these bursaries, you need to have completed all 7 of the Voices Unite surveys. You also need to be a registered student at any higher learning institution. 
  • Deadline: 25 October
  • Reminder: Your answers will be used to guide future decision-making, so answer honestly and don’t rush through the questions – you have plenty of time to provide your answers. 
Rural Education Access Programme

5 lucky Voices Unite participants stand a chance of winning a place in the Rural Early Access Programme (REAP) tertiary support. This programme enables young people from marginalised rural communities to access tertiary education and includes a study laptop, monthly stipend and workshops.

  • Requirements: To stand a chance of winning a spot in this programme, you need to complete 4 of the 7 surveys on the Voices Unite platform. You will also need to have:
    • applied for and secured NSFAS funding;
    • come from a household with maximum income of R120K per annum;
    • have an average of at least 55% in grade 11 and 12, younger than 24 years of age,
    • attended a rural school,
    • must be completing MATRIC or in 1st YEAR of university
    • accepted/attending at the UWC, UFS, UKZN, NMU, UJ or CUT)
    • should you meet these criteria and would like to apply, please email your proof of registration, matric certificate, ID copy, proof of family/household income, proof of NSFAS status to elizabeth@inonafrica.com
  • Deadline: Ongoing

Voices Unite Survey Completion Prizes:

For Voices Unite participants that complete all 7 surveys before the countdown timer hits zero, there are some incredible prizes up for grabs!

These include: R50,000 cash from In On Africa (IOA), bursaries from a growing number of academic partners, scholarships, internships, international volunteering opportunities and more!

  • Requirements: To stand a chance to win these and other huge prizes, all you need to do is complete all 7 Voices Unite surveys before the countdown timer runs out. 
  • Deadline: Extended (date to be confirmed)
  • Reminder: Your answers will be used to guide future decision-making, so answer honestly and don’t rush through the questions – you have plenty of time to provide your answers.
