Being unemployed has weighed me down since graduating with my honours degree in 2016. Getting a job in my field has been harder than writing an exam you did not study for. Not being able to get a job has increased the financial challenges I have been facing all my life.

I had enough of sitting in front of my computer screen all day. I had been in one Zoom meeting after the other, throughout the day, dressed up in my pyjamas from my waist down and having a shirt on as a way to give the illusion that I had my act together.
