AIESEC is a youth-led organisation that creates its impact mainly through exchange programmes. Over 50,000 young people embark on an experience with AIESEC every single year. With each story as unique as the next, it is by no coincidence that we have created a space that allows our young people to thrive.

For us, organisations mean nothing without a reason and without people who support that reason. Peace and fulfilment of humankind’s potential is our reason… or why. This is why AIESEC fits wherever it exists. It is through AIESEC where youth can get engaged with their local reality, meet people from different backgrounds, apply what they have learnt at school, develop their existing skills, or discover new interests.

How exactly do our youth participate?

Our youth participate with AIESEC through our exchange programs. This can be through one of our three programs namely, Global Volunteer (volunteer abroad), Global Talent (professional internship abroad), and Global Entrepreneur (working in a start-up abroad). There are about +15,000 opportunities to choose from in over +120 countries. You are definitely spoilt for choice and you will find yourself wanting to do more and more of the AIESEC Experience. My volunteer experience in Mozambique was an unforgettable one, I wouldn’t change my experience for anything because it taught me to become more patient and understanding, empathetic and open minded when it comes to other cultures.

We pride ourselves in creating tailored education and skills for our members that will not only prepare them to understand the current business world but one that is future oriented and can be used in all fronts of life. By becoming an AIESEC volunteer, the youth can immensely benefit and be well-versed in the following disciplines i.e. Sales, Finance, Partnership Development, Human Resources and Marketing. This is achieved through our highly skilled personnel that provide mentorship to our young volunteers.
