International I Forgot Day

By Kamogelo More, 20, Gauteng

My morning routine is as follows: wake up, dress up, brush teeth and the rest follow.

I have noticed that the toothpaste messes my clothes, but on some days when I have luckily remembered it is: wake up, brush teeth and then dress up.

On these days when I don’t follow the normal routine of messing my shirts, I tend to forget whether or not I brushed my teeth. And how does one remember? Trust me, it is not that obvious. So, I do it again. Why? Because I forgot which routine I followed.

I then start my day with guilt thinking about it or how I am eroding the strongness of my teeth or if they will fall off early due to excessive brushing.

Forgetting sucks! And the thought of false teeth at 45 is even worse.

Happy International I Forgot Day!
